$99 to Join ZenBusiness. $199 to Stay.
For $99 a year, get a Mississippi agent with a registered address on file, same-day scanning of legal documents, and compliance reminders before state deadlines.
We sell against ZenBusiness. Say that out loud before anything else: Mississippi Registered Agent.co is a $99-a-year agent service and this page is built to move you here. So discount our opinions freely. Do not discount the prices. Those came off ZenBusiness's own site during a July 2026 check and we typed them in exactly as printed.
Their Dashboard Is the Best One Going
No argument from us. ZenBusiness has the slickest console in the category, and if you want everything about your company living behind one login, they built that and we did not. Filings, renewals, delivered documents, all in one place, all navigable by somebody who has never run a business before. Genuinely good software.
We are the other thing. One Mississippi address, watched during business hours, one bill a year. No console to learn because there is barely anything to learn.
Two Numbers, and Only the Big One Repeats
Buy agent service on its own instead of stapled to a formation order and ZenBusiness charges $99 plus state fees up front, then $199 every renewal. Nothing hidden about either figure. What trips people is comparing an opening rate against somebody else's forever rate, which is like comparing a first month's rent to a mortgage payment.
Ask what year five costs. Theirs: $199. Ours: $99.
| ZenBusiness standalone | Mississippi Registered Agent.co | |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-up | $99 plus state fees | $99 |
| Renewal | $199 | $99 |
| Five years | $895 plus state fees | $495 |
Four hundred dollars over five years. Same job, same statute, different invoice.

Order HereMississippi runs agents under the Mississippi Registered Agents Act, § 79-35-1 and following, live since the start of 2013. It splits agents into commercial and noncommercial, and commercial ones pay the Secretary of State a $100 listing fee to sit on the state roster. We are on it. So is every national brand selling here. The Act asks one thing of all of us: a real staffed Mississippi street address that takes delivery and passes things on. There is no deluxe version of that obligation waiting behind a higher price.
What Ours Buys
$99. Renews at $99. Forever, not for an introductory period.
- Process server shows up at our Mississippi office, papers are scanned to your portal and emailed before that business day ends
- Our street address carrying the public record so your home address does not have to
- Anything the state sends about your entity gets flagged
- April 15 annual report reminders, at no extra charge, because Mississippi charges a domestic LLC $0 for that filing and the only thing you can really get wrong is the date
Cheapest? No. BetterLegal prints $90 a year and that is nine dollars under us, and a page assembled from other people's price lists does not get to skip the one that wins. Fair version: $99 is among the lowest flat annual rates you can buy in Mississippi, and it is on a much shorter list of rates that still say $99 five renewals in.
How the ZenBusiness Swap Works in Mississippi
Ten dollars and an amendment. That is the whole thing.
Mississippi has no change-of-agent form. Stop looking for the PDF, there isn't one. The state moved business filings into its online portal at corp.sos.ms.gov years ago, and swapping your agent now runs through the amendment path on your entity record. The fee schedule bills that transaction as F0010 at $10, filed with the Secretary of State's Business Services Division. F0010 is a code the portal uses to categorize the filing, nothing more.
Ten dollars is roughly five percent of one ZenBusiness renewal, which means nothing traps you here. In Mississippi a renewal price has to earn its keep every year, because walking out the door costs about what a sandwich costs.
Sequence, and this is the part that actually matters: hire the new agent, file the amendment, watch for it on the state's business search, then cancel ZenBusiness. In that order. ZenBusiness stays your agent of record until the state posts the change, so nothing is exposed in the middle, but only if the cancellation comes last. Flip it and your public filing spends a stretch of days advertising a company you already stopped paying. Screen-by-screen instructions are on our change of agent page.
Nothing on the state calendar reminds you to do this. Put it in the month before your ZenBusiness renewal date, not the month after the charge posts.
